TEST & TAG

Certain types of electrical equipment must be regularly inspected and tested by a competent person to identify damage, wear and detect electrical faults. If you have a business or you are an employer, you must comply with government requirements, making sure electrical equipment is regularly inspected and displays an electrical test tag. The Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation imposes a duty of care to provide a safe workplace for you and your employees.

What is Testing & Tagging?

Testing and tagging involves a visual examination and the electrical testing of in-service equipment for personal safety. At Becka Electrical, our goal is to provide safer homes and workplaces by delivering professional service that exemplifies attention to detail. Using great and reliable technology, we’re able to plan out preventive maintenance and electrical safety checks. This helps you avoid preventable and disastrous accidents, or any legal complications that could follow.

PEACE OF MIND

Knowing that your technology is properly cared for and checked allows you to have peace of mind that your family, coworkers, or employees are all safe in their respective environments. It also means you can make coffee in the morning without worrying you’re going to cause an international incident.

PROTECT YOURSELF & YOUR COMPANY

Ensuring electrical equipment and tools are in safe, working order is important for you and your business, sure; but it also helps you avoid negligence if for some reason something does go wrong. Make sure your business meets and complies with current laws and standards.

Test & Tag Services

Along with the aforementioned visual check and series of electrical tests to ensure item safety, equipment is tagged to indicate that the item has been identified as safe, which must be kept until the electrical equipment is next tested. This information is also stored in a Detailed Asset Register and Log Book.
